The Seabreeze Sandcrabs’ softball team and the Mainland Buccaneers went cleat-to-cleat on the diamond for 10 innings, Thursday April 1, leaving Seabreeze with the only run on the scoreboard.
Mainland pitcher Bella Dejulio and the Buccaneer infield got the ball rolling top of the first inning with an out by Leah Coffing at first base, a strikeout and a pop fly caught by Dejulio. Seabreeze pitcher Julie Kelly responded with three strikeouts in the bottom of the first.
The Lady Buccaneers’ flag football team lived up to its undefeated record by beating the Lady Sandcrabs 35-0 on Thursday, April 1, bringing the team to 8-0 for the season.
Led by quarterback Alexa Wilson, the Buccaneers pulled off three interceptions, two by Isys Grady and one by Ava Colubiale. Wide receiver Colubiale played seven innings as catcher for the Mainland softball team prior to kicking off the flag football game with her teammates.
Mainland Buccaneers boys basketball team got swarmed by the Leesburg Yellow Jackets in a tight game, losing 66-60 Friday, Jan. 15, at Mainland's Vince Carter Athletic Center.

Mainland High School boys basketball team hosted the Chick-fil-A Classic tournament Dec. 28-30 for 16 central Florida high school teams. Each team had the chance to play three games during the three day tournament.
